I don't find it amusing at all!
I'm in Washington, DC and looking forward to an "Oppressive Heat Wave" for most of this week. With the drought in the Central US we can look forward to paying a lot more for food next year. Ugh

Gosh - let me see, how can that be - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, he would be a Republican - how do you explain a Republican actually differing on a major policy issue with a Republican President? Could it be that the GOP allows people of differing views to exist under the same party - wow, a diversity of opinion, now there's a radical concept that the democrat party, the party of the sheep would never tolerate.
Global warming - another difficult, complicated issue that the democrats see as a known and fixed truth - and they don't want to allow any wiggle room in understanding it. It is this way, and this way only - democrats find a policy (wow, really - they actually something - and oh, it figures - it's flawed science...) and embrace it and immediately close it off to further discussion. Global warming is real, it is happening and now everyone must believe it without any further discussion....
Do you find it amusing that democrats are all worried about what other countries think of the US - that poll driven mentality again, it's not about taking a stand and following through with action - it's about getting approval and looking like you are right...

The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of the Earth's 4 billion years.
The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.
These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class.

I guess the hole in the ozone layer is cyclical as well. Yeah, hilarious.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Yeah, Bush is the 'decider', he is a man of 'action' and not consequence, who cares that he is making a bad decision, as long as he is making decisions, right? He is a leader, only problem is NO ONE IS FOLLOWING! Too many brains out there to follow him. WHy do we need the support of the international community? SO WE COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS WAR< OR GOT SOME HELP SO MAYBE WE COULD BE SUCCESSFUL!!!!! WHy do I hear banjo music every time I'm on this forum?

Just another example of how liberals think our country should be run based on a poll or how another country thinks of us. OH NO, the french hate us, let's go appease them and be their friends.
You are either a leader or a follower. President Bush and USA are LEADERS in the world. If you want to believe in junk science so you can sit at the cool kid's table, then go. Let the adults work.

I think it is FUNNY AS FU*K. Bush is a moron, and anyone who likes him needs to take off the blinders. He has run this country into the ground. And i know yall know he did too, yall just dont want to suck it up and admit that the moron that yall elected fuc*ed this country up. Kind of odd how as soon as bush comes in the 9/11 happens and then bush does all this domestic spying stuff. It is all in his plan, i am not sure but i think it is kind of weird. But yes it is rediculous, even if green house gases aren't the cause of global warming, it still wouldn't hurt to get all those gasses out of the atmosphere. But i think bush is a moron and he is just a puppet.

You answered your own question. President Bush is all for the environment, but not to the point that you can't afford to eat to support the program. Global warming is a fact, but the cause of it is disputed. Most scientist agree that we are in a cyclic weather pattern, where as Al Gores paid experts agree with him.

Yes i do find it amusing. Bush should talk about global warming as a way to distract the American public from Iraq and Karl Rove.
But then again, it is liberal propaganda, which must be incorrect.

Probably knows it's not caused by man...
The earth goes through warming and cooling phases...
On the other hand, man does have the ability to modify the weather (electronically, usually). This heat wave and drought could be a product of people with an agenda.
