I'm stuck on the part where you have to get 5 mechanical skills. I have 4 but I can't find any more is there anyway to find them quicker or buy them?

I have that game and I'm stuck om the same part. Skill points appear once a week for eight hours. You just have to watch and wait.

The best way to get mechanicl points for your sim is to either study mechanics (via a book from a book shelf) or to make the sim do his/her OWN household chores (fixing a broken sink etc etc) instead of getting the repairman to do it

Im not sure if the nin. game is the same as the PC, but on PC you can read book to study mechanical and gain a point. Obviously you have to buy a bookcase first.
