For 2006, the max a person can put in a 401K is $15,000. What is the max contribution for 2007?

The 2007 contribution limits will be "indexed to inflation". I am assuming it will either be $15000-$16000.

IRS has not declared the figure for 2007 yet. The same can be checked at IRS website http://www.irs.gov/retirement/article/0,,id=96461,00.html
