No 2 children are alike, twins or not. He may just not be ready for a sippy cup yet. My 1st had a sippy cup at 10 months.. no bottle, nothing.. but my 2nd is 15 months old.. and no matter how hard I try.. he hates the sippy cup.. when he's ready I'll know..

It may be the kind of cup you're using. Look for a cup with a soft spout (most resembling a nipple). I had the same problem with my daughter. Tried the soft spout cups by Avent and haven't had a problem since. It's a different technique to drink from a sippie cup with a hard spout than a bottle and can confuse a baby. Be patient and keep trying. Good luck!

My daughter liked the nipples on the bottles and would not drink from a hard sippy cup. My mom found these cups that are sippy cups, but the part they drink from feels like a bottle (it is made out of laytex) It took her a few days, but she loved those cups

What kind of sippy cup are you using? Try something with a soft spout; pretty much all of the major manufacturers carry them (Avent, Playtex, Gerber), but there is also the Nuby, which I have only seen at Walmart thus far; they are only about 2 bucks apiece, and my son used them as a transition between the bottle and a hard spout sippy cup and he did great.

I had the same problem I started to try to get him to use a sippy with only juice in it like the dr. told me to do when he was 6 months and at a year he still would not use it. When I when to his next check up the dr. told me not to give him anything else he might not like it for a couple of days but then he would get used to it. I tried it and after the first couple of hours he was drinking it. I hope that helps.

My daughter likes the Avent naturally sippy cups. Try them, soft spout and easy to hold on to.

Give him so time he might not be ready yet. You could try only giving him water or something he doesnt really like in his bottle and only give him his milk and juice in the sippy.

I have twins too, and I have lots and lots of nieces and nephews, some of them at the same age as my kids. One thing important to know is that every kid is unique. Maybe one of your twins will start walking and the other not, things like that.
