I have rescanned my freeview box five or six times and it still doesn't seem to pick up FilmFour. Any ideas how to fix this?

It all depends on the Topbox that you have. If you go to retune your top box remove the arial whilst tuning for a count of 10 then put it back in to see if that works. You may find that you get FilmFour but may lose other channels. Anyway I would not bother getting FilmFour they show the same films over and over again, well just like the BBC, ITV and the other channels.

Mine is working ok. How old is the freeview box? If its an older one, you may need to buy a new one as some of the older ones can't pick up some frequencies.
Did it pick up More 4 + 1 OK? Maybe it is still named as that, this is what channel 31 used to show before Film4 was launched on Freeview.

Film Four has taken the place of More 4+1 I think, it still says More 4+1 but has Film Four listings on it. But all that does not matter because it wont give me a picture (it did when it was More 4+1) maybe you need cable to have it on the free channels?

HD waiting means you elect a like minded field like a sky or virgin HD field to get HD channels, i found that because of using having an entire HD television the photograph high quality is as solid on freeview because it is as quickly as I placed it on my freesat field on an HD channel, so only decide for finished HD and be sure it is 1080i no longer 1080p

Not sure im afraid but try and get it done by tonight cos there is a film on called Festival and it looks quite good. Its set in Edinburgh and im Scottish so maybe im just bias!!!! Good luck.

its on channel 31. try unplugging the box and rescanning.

I had to re-program mine to search for new chanells and then it picked it up.
