I'd bat him 2nd between Jeter and A-Rod. I'd move Damon to 9th

Abreu, who saw all but 43 of his plate appearances this season in the No. 3 spot, will likely hit fifth or sixth for New York.

I'm guessing sixth, behind Posada. He takes over for Bernie and Crosby in RF.
Damon CF
Jeter SS
Giambi DH
A-Rod 3B
Posada C
Abreu RF
Cairo 2B
Phillips 1B
Cabrera LF

I can't believe the Phillies traded him and Lidle for a bunch of unproven minor leaguers. And the Yankees are complaining that they are always giving players away instead of getting them. What??? Last I looked, they bought half the players in the major leagues!
One thing is for sure, he refuses to be lead off hitter.

Probably 6th behind Posada. Maybe 3rd if you moved Giambi to 5th. Go Red Sox. Go Red Sox.
