you are a soul...or whatever you want to call it....for me, the soul is not only the one that controls your body, its so much more than that, it is you, ur escence, ur thoughts, ur feelings..all of that is not ur bpdy, its your soul, your karisma your whole. The body is just an instrument that the soul uses to get things done in the material world. Dont missunderstand me, im not like a religion freak or anything, its just the way i see it.

A metaphysical problem of dualism. Is man a soul and body, or perhaps just a body? Well, let's address this question from the negative; nobody has proven conclusively the soul doesn't exist and this is true for proving the existence of the soul. I am a dualist, my position is that the soul is the invisible aspect of our being, I also equate the mind with the soul because that is where the choices of morality are made. The brain is the physical storehouse of knowledge, pulsing with electro-chemical activity. The aspect of the soul is what I believe sets people apart from animals, I also frequently refer to people as human beings because of this difference. The soul is the seat of self consciousness, that is why a human being can be introspective, and self reflective. The soul is the part that lives on after death, and returns to the spirit realm, and answers to its creator. Clearly the soul is the personality, so the person is clearly aware and conscious of events transpiring around him even after death.

Yes souls exist. Every human being has a soul. Some people believe that animals have souls too. A soul is your inner being it can either be good and pure and kind or it can be bad and evil and ugly. Souls coexist with our belief system in God or the Devil. If a person truly believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior that He died on the cross for our sins. Then that person's soul, after they die, will rise up and be with God in Heaven for all eternity. But if that person does not believe in God and denies Him all their days, that persons soul, after they die, may end up in Hell for all eternity.

Now. it depends upon your definition of a soul. However there is an on going debate upon this subject because i beleive the soul depends upon the existence of "freewill". Which is very debatable and also will never be proven for it is beyond the realms of science.Therefor we can never know if we have souls.

yes every single being has a SOUL and that i will say is what has been keeping each and everyone of us alive to this very moment.
because God is the reason that we are alive and that means he is the soul of every mankind even wen we are dead he still keeps in touch with us for we all have to one dead rise up from the dead and account for our works on earth.

The first thing you learn in 8th grade science is.."energy can niether be created nor destroyed".
So when our body passes, where does the energy go? I believe that energy is our soul. A little simplistic, but easy to comprehend!
