All I've been seing on my TV lately is commercials for Ned Lemont, but they're not for Lemont. They're simply against Lieberman. I have yet to see one singal ad that says what Ned Lemont would do if he was elected in the August 8th primary. And besides: Joe Lieberman, along with the attorney General Richard Blumenthal, is really the voice of CT. I've seen him on several news shows discusing various issues. So would Ned Lemont do the same in getting in front of the camera when he hasn't even done that for his campaign?

And besides, Lieberman has said that if he doesn't win the primary, he'll run as an independant for the Presidential race. Personally I'd think this would be a great idea since he could be himself and not face any pressure from a political party such as influencing his views even though he's already done that in part, but that can be a very good thing especially for someone like him.

I live in connecticut. Lamont may well win the primary, but has no chance in the fall election. Connecticut is overwhelmingly independent. Over 60% of the voters are registered independent, and they overwhelmingly support Lieberman. Combine that with the fact the Republican candidate has little support among Republicans, Lieberman will get the majority of their vote as well. Lamont is running on a single issue: Iraq.
Lieberman will win, be an independent for 6 years, and then the Dems will "invite" him back forthe next election. And he will vote the Democratic block while an independent.

Lieberman made his own bed. He choose to side with the loser CONS in power now. When the CONS are voted out, he will be gone as well. See ya Lieberman -
