depending on the trojan you may have to turn off system restore, re-start in safe mode and remove it from there. If you cant find it download hijack this ( find on google) and post results on the many help sites for removal instructions.....try getting spybot it picks up most stuff its free and has an immunize feature.

Don't hurry to format your hard drive. If it was removed by an antivirus program, it might be really removed but tracks of it might be detected by other anti-viruses. If the simptoms of the trojan dosn't appear any more, leave the hard drive alone. If they do, try other anti-viruses (one that works best on my computer is "Bit Defender" and you may scan your computer online for free at http://www.bitdefender.ro). ONLY if everything fails to work, format your hard drive.

find out the name of the program that is running and causing this and then search it manually on your computer then take that file and all the contents in that folder and erase them....

then remove the folder...

you also go to check your registry... there's a few registry programs out there.. like i think registry doctor..?

spy sweep it and check everything over and over until that glitch is gone.

though the best way is to completely format your drive but... it's not nessesary unless its a malignant virus.
