If you want to be the Secretary of State, you will need to go to college and study something like political science. Then you will need to go to either law school or grad school. You will need to get internships in government as often and as soon as possible (I think you can be a Congressional Page at 16) in order to meet the "right" people and make connections. The suggestions about volunteering now at your local party office and supporting candidates were spot on.
Politics is all about money and connections. You need to have both in order to succeed and climb up the ladder.
I wish you luck.

Well you can start by signing up for the right classes in school, you can also go volunteer your services for political campains and elections. pass out flyers and such, but find a better rolemodel than rice, her idea of foreign affairs is to insult a country to the world media then wonder why they wont come to peace talks.

since you're not old enough to have a job, you might be able to start out volunteering to help with a local politician's campaign. this will give you a good opportunity to learn more about how our political system works. unless you happen to be very very rich, the best way to get involved in politics is start small and work your way up.

Start going to council meetings in your area and ask what sort of things you could participate in. They often have groups that you could do volunteer work. It's a great way to get involved in your community and learn about the gov. at the same time. It also looks really good on your college apps.

Take a course in Political science and become a lawyer. You'll probably be like her when you're in your mid-30s or early 40s.

The first step might be to stop capitalizing every word. No one wants to vote for a bimbo.
