Why is the band Flyleaf called "Flyleaf"?

It's just such a wierd name. And why's Simple Plan called "Simple Plan"? Why's Good Charlotte called "Good Charlotte"? Why's 50 cent called "50 cent"? Rn't those weird names?

Or am I the only 1 who thinks so?

Flyleaf is named 'Flyleaf' because:

A flyleaf is the blank page at the front of a book," explains Lacey Mosley, Flyleaf's vocalist. "It's the dedication page, the place you write a message to someone you're giving a book to. And, that's kind of what our songs are — personal messages that provide a few moments of clarity before the story begins."

Good Charlotte is named 'Good Charlotte' because:

They took the name 'Good Charlotte' from a children's book: Good Charlotte: The Girls Of Good Day Orphanage by Carol Beach York. The band maintains that there is no significance to the name Good Charlotte, and have claimed on many ocassions that they now hate the name.

Simple Plan is named 'Simple Plan' because:

The origin of the band's name is obscure. Band members have given various responses on this point, including a liking for the movie A Simple Plan; that the band was their simple plan to avoid getting a "real" job; and that the name was only intended to be temporary, but they never thought of anything better, and with shows coming up for the new band, they needed a name.
