Quite annoying and very impolite. It does, unfortunately; go right along with the self centered attitude of today where many people want to be the center of attention and think that the entire world revolves around them. If anyone had come to our house and acted that way when I was growing up, they would have been ignored until they had come to the door; and my Dad would have given them a lesson in good manners. I have had people attempt to do that to me, and I will not go to the door until they come up and ring my doorbell. I would not allow my children to just run out to get into a friend's vehicle, either, if this happened. In this case "old school" is definitely the better way. There are too many little things like this that get on peoples nerves and only add to the amount of stress we all have to deal with. It is nice to know that there are other people who dislike some of these actions, as I do. Have a good day!

Yes! I live in an apartment building and my neighbors friend always sits in her car and honks. Not just once or twice, but every 10-15 seconds until my neighbor comes out! I have hollered out the window but the lazy *** wont get out of her car to knock on a door!!

Yes I had a friend that used to do that, and it irritated my mom alot too, because it just seemed so impersonal. On the other hand, if you're running late and someone is giving you a ride, it does save time to have them pull up quick and honk. But only when absolutely necessary!

It is annoying, Much the same fashion as a Mormon coming to the door, and handing me that stinking book of Mormon. Or a Jehovah's Witness... perhaps moreso... At least the Mormons and Witnesses come withing fist range so I can punch them if I feel the urge.

It does not annoy me in any respect. many times definitely everyone seems to be soliciting for a Christian to respond to their question. A Christian that has regular Jesus as Lord of their life, has a attractive present to share! they want you to share interior the excitement that they have chanced on. and you're precise, non secular solutions do no longer remedy your issues, in basic terms God can do this. in basic terms God would supply you information. in basic terms God can open doors for you or close those that are determental to you. in basic terms God can inspect your heart and comprehend what somewhat is erroneous on your life. yet you notice, those Christians which you seek for solutions from, they already comprehend that, and all they are attempting to do is lead you to Jesus so which you will detect out the solutions for your self. they do no longer look to be ignorant the two. truly, they are especially clever.

It really gets on my nerves, but when people do it to me I just ignore them until they get fed up with doing it and come and knock the door, they soon realise that's the only way to get my attention

Yes. I have told others to please knock; that I don't like people blowing their horn in my driveway.
If they choose not to listen; then I choose not to go to the door.
People do learn...........one way or the other.
Be firm about it.
