I want to be an astronaut and this seems like my only option as a female. They only seem to send men to space. Would this increase my odds?

Well ......you could trying achieving your dreams the original way, by going to college, studying VERY, VERY hard, while majoring in mathematics and science. Also, get a good adviser while you are in college who can help you choose classes based on your career goals.
Then you will be so busy making something great of yourself that you wont have to post these ignorant questions and put all women to shame.
