My kids are still young so i dont want them to be influenced by sites that are promoting porno or any similar acts. I want to trust them to use the internet to learn more about modern technology by themselves without me being afraid that they might pick up something not good on the net...pls help me and teach me how...thank you!!

Go to Internter Options --> Content --> and enable Content advisor as per your requirement,
Even it could be password protected, so he/she cant change this setting by him self

Internet Options --> Content --> Enable --> General --> Create Password

install parental controls - your internet provider probably has a program - Win 98 - xp also does - read your help files or do a search on yahoo or google - most these programs are free - but do not put all your trust in them as a clever kid can switch thhem off just as quickly as you can switch them on - porn sites are devilishly clever too so always keep an eye on your kids

Under the Tools option go to Internet options and then to the Security tab. You can select your settings and filter out what content you don't wish them to see.

You could try this site and see if it will do what you really want it to do. I used it when my kids were at home and it worked for me.

install Norton anti virus with firewall it is very effective it blocks many adult websites u can even add your web page which you think is harmful. or else you can request your ISP to provide you with filtering service which is more effective as Norton sometimes slows your PC performance.
