well let me think if u got kids u could say u dont have a babysitter, or that someone close to u is sick an they cant b left alone an ur the only one, ur sick wiv an 24 hour bug that should clear up by 2morra, errrm what else can i think of u got arrested 4 something that wasnt ur fault, its ur mums birthday an u cant miss it as ur doing something special. i kno they're not great but thats all i could think of good luck i hope u get out of it

Get one of your friend to phone you up while she's in the office, pretend to be shocked over something then say you'll be right home after work. If she asks say it's your old aunt who lives down the road and she's taken a tumble and needs collecting from hospital. Never fails!!! :)

Get your mum/dad/brother/sister/girlfriend/boyfriend to ring you. When they do, make out it's something pretty bad (might require a little acting on your part) and you have to go and see them, like now or ASAP (i.e tonight). If she asks what's wrong, say it's 'extremely personal'. Sorted. Good luck buddy.

Just start crying your eyes out. Your boss will be so disgusted and embarrassed at your shamefull behavior she'll want you out of her sight.
PS, try wetting your pants after about 30 seconds, this usually helps.

Just explain that this evening you already have plans you are meeting up with people and can't get let them down. maybe say not tonight but say you could maybe work another night.

Is it in your contract that she can demand overtime from you. If not she hasn't got a leg to stand on. You don't have to give her an excuse your not a child and if you don't want to work overtime then you don't have to.

Just tell her that you want triple time and a half, If shes that she cannot pay that then tell her that you cannot do overtime. Sorted. Then see if she wants you to over time.
