I would likt to know if VOIP will function with a laptop and if it does, can a headset be used. I have Verizon VOIP & DSL. Thanks

OK I understand what you are saying but what if I am travelling, how does that work

Yes, voip will absolutely work on your laptop. You have to connect the voip internet phone adapter to your DSL modem (via ethernet cable) at one end, and your laptop at the other. You can use an ethernet cable to directly connect the adapter to your laptop, or plug the adapter into a wireless router. If your laptop has a wireless card, it will be able to pick up the signal and you're good to go. This is the way I do it and it works great!

I also use a headset. :-)

It should, but you will probably have to use a wireless router, and the laptop should have WiFi built in. It's probably best to call Verizon and ask them.
