I dont know the story behind you question: But im guessing that it involves your pass history and your wondering if she aware of your behavior:
Like did you hear from someone, that i did such a such (like a year ago, with whats her face)?
Yea you should just ask, instead of wonder: think of both sides of asking her and not asking her: which one out weighs which?
If your feeling that uncomfortable Not Knowing: You gotta ask, but be sure that you can handle the situation that comes with asking: the questions she might bring up since the discussion is now on the table. Can you handle the questions: if so go head and ask her

I think you should ask your friend what it is.
Especially if it's hurting your friendship in the sense that it's on your mind constantly and/or u have a little inkling behind your mind that something is not right.
And, if it hasn't affected your friendship yet, it will.
Eventually.
So for the sake of your friendship, ask.
It may not be anything. But you'll never know until you ask.
And he/she may just be waiting for you to start a conversation that will make it easier for him/her to spill it.
Good Luck.

If she knows something that you would rather not reveal.....she'll let it out in some round about way........I don't like that though. I did something once that ws very stupid.....and this guy that I was seeing let me know, but not in a straight forward way. He said....I can't understand pple that........Why would anybody want to do that anyway? I felt extremely uncomfortable. People who hee-haw around like that are generally very judgemental. For me, I always want to know why somebody did something,,,not just about the act itself. The "why" is how we get to know ppl. We all make mistakes, some ppls mistakes might be bigger, might be less. For myself, I knew what I did was wrong. I asked God for forgiveness. It's in the past. Friends that are judging you, and not trying to understand you, are not truly your friends. Continue to be friendly to her when you see her, but let her go. Friends are suppose to make you feel better about yourself, and support you when you make mistakes, not taunt you with them. Life is hard enough, and when we make the wrong friendships and they hurt us then we have something else to feel bad about. I hope you understand what I am saying.

If your friendship is true to you, you should ask her. I think that true friendship should come easy as the days come and go. If you feel uncomfortable...take a step back and ask yourself ...why you have this discomfort.

If it's that important to you, ask. Sounds like the silence is already driving you crazy.

Why do you have a guilty conscience? And WHY do you have to justify your actions to your so called friend? Just leave it alone and forget it.

If she is truly your friend she will tell you if she thinks it is that important and if she doesn't then you don't need her as a friend.
