Hilary Duff hands down.
First, compare movies. Pretty much all of the movies Lohan has done have been 'kid' movies: Mean Girls, Parent Trap, Herbie, Confessions, etc... Duff has done her fair share, but Cheaper by the Dozen was more of a comedy, and Raise Your Voice actually tackled...GASP...drama! She deals with death in the movie. I think they are both OK actresses, but Duff seems to have branched out a little more, genre-wise. Although Lohan's movies have probably done better at the box office and it seems as if she has done more. So they tie in this category.
Second, compare music. Lohan album bombed. Duff, although sales weren't astronomical, did decently. Her stuff is still played on the radio. Have you heard any of Lohan's music on the radio lately? Nope... Duff definitely has more of a music career than Lohan, even if she is the product of corporations.
Third, compare image. Hilary Duff has never been caught with a beer bottle and a cig in her hand(s). She has a pretty wholesome image, but she still seems like a nice person. Lindsay has been caught with her nips popping out in numerous pictures, is a notorious party girl, and noticeably dropped 10s of pounds mysteriously. Duff did as well, but Lohan is the one with the "image" issues. I think Hilary Duff is MUCH more of a role model to any age.
Hilary has her own line of clothing and accessories. So she is already involved in business. Another point for Hil.
Also, Lohan is a huge diva. She escapes to the hospital every chance she can get. I think it's all for press and it's a hoax. I'm sorry, but I HIGHLY doubt the directors of a movie would malnurish Lindsay Lohan (ex. her "heat" exhaustion...it's not like she is running a marathon!), especially when they are paying her a ridiculously high amount of money!! They wouldn't take that chance. She really is a drama queen...
So, these are my biggest reasons why I think Lindsay Lohan is one of the most overated, "beautiful" people in Hollywood. Because of this, Hilary stomps all over Lindsay...

Hilary Duff is much prettier than Lindsay Lohan and a much better role model. I think Lindsay parties way too much and needs to be more responsible. I never hear bad things about Hilary Duff.

Hilary Duff is a million times better ... Lindsay Lohans just let the fame go to her head and by next year she'll be in an alchoholic if she isn't already ... Heat Exhaustion .. whatever ... more like pure exhaustion from all the late nights!!

I am goin' to say Lohan only because she survived two car crashes, all that parting, many hangovers, and much much more! I am not going to say Hilary Duff becuase she stole my sisters old boyfriend Joel. He was my best friend. Now he dosen't talk to me anymore. I have to admitt that Hilary is prettier though. But why would you show this to your younger siblings? i think that that is an irresponsible act.

Heard news about Lohan today, in the shoot for her new movie she is acting like a spoiled 10 year old and the producers are getting mad at her, so for that reason I like Duff

I like neither of them because they're both way to skinny! I hate both of they're voices and they're acting! No one cares aboout them so it really doesn't matter! Lindsay can really sing but her acting sucks and she parties way to much! Hilary can't sing that good but I think she's more of a role model. Plus Hilary looks nicer and you never hear bad things about her in the news magazines like you do Lindsay.

In a celebrity death match, I'd put my money on Lindsay Lohan. She's survived a couple of car crashes so she's probably a little tougher.

neither, theyre both spoiled bratts! hilary duff is a skeleton now, and lindsay lohan is skipping work cause she partied too hard the night before!!!
