I break out really bad on my chin, and just recently broke out on my chest. I have tried everything from Proactiv, Clean & Clear, to Noxzema. I just want to know if there are any home remedies I can try or if anyone has any other suggestions. I would really like them to clear up before my 21st birthday which is in 28 days!

I break out a week before I get my period. Then all of the zits/pimples go away on my forehead and chin, except for there are a few that stay on my chin. But the ones on my chest get better, but don't go away. I don't wear much makeup, and I wash my face morning and night.

This worked for me for 25 years! My daughter does it too ;)
Remove makeup with Cetaphil (can be generic -- doesn't need to be name brand -- available at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS). Then, wash your face, neck and chest with Lava soap - yep, the hand soap...it's an excellent and inexpensive exfoliator. Then, go over your face neck and chest with a cotton ball filled with Witch Hazel (also under $2 at the drug store). In the morning, wash the same area with Dove Soap to re-moisturize. For specific breakouts, try Acnomel -- it's been around for decades and still works!

Are the breakouts coming in connection with your periods? This is a common cause, and can even be brought on by ovulation while you are not on your period.

The area you are having them in, chin and chest, are part of the "T-Zone", If you made an imaginary cross from your mid forehead to your chest, and across your cheeks to your nose, this is the T Zone. There are more oil glands in this area and will cause more break outs. The best thing is to keep them clean, airy, (not covered and sweating) don't use oily products, etc.

You very well may be getting adult onset acne, in which case, if none of the above suggestions work, you should see a dermatologist.

Good luck!

Some of the stuff that Maryann stated will have to aid. Skin care have to be a steady factor. Naturally when you begin a regiment, it'll have a tendency to make you holiday out a little bit extra considering the fact that the glands which are generating the oils are likening it to an assault, however after a at the same time they subside. Noxzema at night time (simply depart it on while you sleep) "Mud" programs. Neutrogena. Pro energetic are all well recommendations. In addition it additionally concerns wht you're drinking. Candy, soda, greasy and oily meals dont aid your obstacle and have a tendency to make it worse. Drinking plenty of WATER is well now not just for the epidermis, however the whole frame by and large. One factor with the intention to rather aid is constant (weekly or bi-weekly) sizzling baths with MINERAL salts. (You can get thee at Wallgreens, Bartells, Pay an Go, and many others.) A sizzling bath (a sizzling as you'll stand with out scalding you) and 2 to 3 complete cup of the salts combined in. Let it dissolve get in and submerge your self completely (face too, pinch you nostril) then lay there and preserve as a lot of your face submerged as you'll, with simply your mouth and nose gap above the water line. If you do that for any wherein from a million/two an hour, to an hour you are going to now not most effective be serving to your epidermis, however exchanging minerals your frame might ought to control the creation of those immoderate oils. It will open the pores and when you comply with it with a bloodless bathe (ensure you brace your self or sit down down as it is a little bit of a "surprise" in your approach the primary time you do it) after, you are going to suppose without doubt potent, each bodily and mentally. Hope this is helping

If you go to a dermitoligist he can recommend perscription body wash for acne. ALso, watch out for laundry detergents cause some of them can cause breakouts on the body because of the chemicals in them. So, I would first change your laundry detergent and wash your sheets with the new detergent and make an apt. with a skin doctor and see what he/she recommends.
