ok i know this is really silly, but can you only put music from itunes onto your ipod? or can you put other mp3 music and songs from cds on too?

Of course...just put the Cd into your drive and then click on the little CD pic that usually says "Audio CD" and then Click Import music. You can't get something directly from an Mp3 though.

You just have to import the music into your library. For example, if you want to put your CD onto your ipod put it into your drive. It will bring up the music and yo ucan select which songs you want in you library.

sure you can. you simply have to import your songs from a cd onto your itunes program. it's simple!

iTunes isn't the only way to put music on your iPOD.
