Iran has a deep history and culture with more than 4000 years history and 2500 years civilization.
Iran has a variety of weathers. While the weather in the South of Iran is hot, some other cities in the North-West like "Ardebil" has very good weather.
Also, the weather in the North of Tehran is different with the South of this city.
While some people are doing summer sports in the South of Iran, some others are doing winter sports in the North of Tehran and in the North of country. Especiall in spring the weather in Iran is wonderful.

In Iran you can see different cultures, different traditions, different foods and different places, including ancient cities in "Shiraz", "Kermanshah", "Esfehan", etc.
Takht e Jamshid or Persepolic (Shiraz), Pasargad (Shiraz),
Hafezyeh (Shiraz), Saadyeh (Shiraz), etc.
Anahita temple (Kermanshah), Biston (Kermanshah), etc.
Naghsh e Jahan (Esfehan), Chehel Sotoon (Esfehan), etc.

Religious cities such as "Qom" and "Mashhad",

Traditional houses, nice and interesting old houses that made by Iranian architects in "Kashan" (Esfehan state), "Yazd", "Tabriz", etc.

Natural malls such as some Northen cites like "Chalus (Mazandaran)", "Kelar dasht (Mazandaran)", "Anzali" (Gilan), "Torkman sahra" (Mazandaran), "Masoleh" (Gilan), etc.

Come here and enjoy :)

Turkey, is the most beautiful country in the "Middle East". It has from west to east stunning landscapes, the Bosphorus which divides Europe from Asia, the fabled rock formations of Cappadocia and in the East, Lake Van and Mount Ararat. Absolutely stunning.

From north to south, it has the Black Sea, the Sea of Marmara, the Aegean and the Mediterranean.

Herodotus, Aristotle, St. Paul, the Prophet Abraham, Sulieman, the Magnificent and Ataturk are only a smattering of famous people in history who either were born there or spent long stints in the land.

Too boot, it has the finest Greek ruins in the world and too many Biblical sites to count. Don't fail to go to Aphrodisias or the Ethnological museum in Ankara where the finest examples of ancient Hittite artefacts are on display.

Fabulous food and a gentle proud people welcome anyone with a good heart.

From Turkey you can easily jump off to many other M E countries.

I like Dubai, but it is pretty expensive. They have amazing shopping malls and you can go out and see the desert on tours and ride camels.

Turkey is beautiful and not to expensive but the Turkish people are pretty awful to white people, particularly women. If you are darker skinned you probably won't have to much trouble. There is tons to see there too.

Although I haven't been there, Qatar, Barhain and Jordan are all tourist friendly. I think if you go with a tour group you can even go to Iran which I would love to do one day. You just have to respect the culture and Law by covering your head.

I love the middle east personally. It has so much interesting culture and history. Plus great food.

And lets all ignore the idiot who thinks the whole middle east is at war. Probably one of the same people that thinks all muslims are terrorists.

Hope you get to go. Have fun.

It depends what are you looking for , there are a lot of nice countries in the middle east, Egypt to start with is very nice, lots and lots of ruins and old cities, you would love the night life there, belly dancing, and the old market.
Jordan is very nice too, there is the dead sea, and Petra which is really lovely.
As for Dubai it is very nice, but it is a new city, you cannot find any ruins, it looks like New york with it's tall building and busy life, but it is a lovely place to visit in November till March cause the weather is very nice, lovely beaches and great shopping.

I've been to Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Morocco in the middle east. Palestine, Israel and Lebanon are really beautiful but probably not a good idea to go now, maybe later especially Lebanon. Morocco is really nice, has many things to see from desert to snow capped mountains. I've only been to Damascus in Syria and its very nice, really old history and great food!

Jordan! It's amazing! I highly recommend going to Amman for shopping, the dead sea or Aqaba for some fun in the sun, and Petra to see the historical ruins and it's where the last sequel of the Indian Jones Trilogy was shot! Or you can even go camping or sky diving in Wadi Rum!

Check this website, it's filled with great resources, trip planners, etc...

Jordan i hear is beautiful, also Turkey. I have alway wanted to visit Moraco. Moraco is in Africa, but I believe it is considered Middle Eastern.
Honestly though... I wouldn't travel anywhere NEAR these countries right now... ya know...war and all.

It would not be wise to visit the middle east right now. If you havn't seen the news in the last year or two, THERE IS A HUGE WAR RAGING NOW IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

They kidnap people and cut thier heads off while they record it.

But the way things are at the moment, I won't recommend any Middle Eastern Country.
