why is it that in the movies the lead female character always has a gay friend? what is it about gay ppl that makes them so good confindents for women?

Women like gay friends because they can share relationship and fashion advice without having to worry that they will hit on them. A gay guy can give you the relationship advice that no other man cant. The gay guy can tell you what another man wants or is thinking while the other guy has to keep his male pride. Gay guys don't worry about that.

They can relax more as friends with no sexual tension between them. They really are more fun. It's like having another best friend.
