There was a time when I'd have said I wanted the power of persuasion, because I was young and thought for sure I had all the answers. But now, whether you call it ability or power, I'd like to have the imagination to write novels. And, why? Because, like most people, I want to be immortal. I look in my bookshelves and see works by Steinbeck, and Hemingway, and Faulkner, and think what a really wonderful way to be remembered.

You mean like super-powers? When I was younger I always thought I would like to be able to shrink down to a really small size, like a mouse or an insect so that I couls sneak into the girl's locker room. Of course, that would inevitably would lead to wondering what they would do with me if they found me.
Now that I am older I think I'd settle for mere immortality.

i'm sorry, i don't understand the question. as someone who was born being able to do anything, i have no need of any other powers. i am already the most powerful, talented being on the planet. you should see how i use a pogostick to see through second story walls!!

to have a pair of pants, that whenever i reach into a pocket i pull out a $20 bill. Evertime i put my hand in my pocket, i get it, not just once a day, but like 400 times a day.
