Please state if you are a man or a woman and if you have cheated on your spouse. How many time and a brief explanation of why. Just curious seeing how most of the people in answers ask "why do men cheat on their wives"

Married male. Cheated more times than I can count in my 11 years of marriage. Can't really explain why, except that I can't stop.

Woman: I've cheated on my husband literally dozens of times during our marriage - but not for the past 10 years. Usually, it was because I felt I was not getting enough attention from my husband - most were one night stands, but a couple were actual extra-marital affairs that lasted months or even years in a couple of cases. My husband never found out because, well, he never paid much attention to me. Also, honestly, the drama of the whole thing was very exciting. Forbidden passion! Secret Love! (and I did love the two guys I had year long affairs with). Over the past 10 years, I've learned to find my self-esteem and self worth in other things and concentrate more on my husband. Do I get enough attention now? No. he's never going to change. I know that. Will I have another affair? Probably not. That sort of drama just doesn't hold the thrill it once did. And the stakes are much higher now.
And I do love my husband - truly I do. I don't want to jeopardize what has become over the years, a good and satisfactory relationship. We have a family now and keeping that together is worth more than a one night stand.

I am a woman(apparently) I have cheated on my husband 2 times. Well 1 was when we were split up so I don't know if that counts and the other wasn't too long ago, but mainly because I knew he was cheating on me too. WHY? I don't know, haven't thought about it, I really think it was just a physical attraction to this other man, and not only that my husband was cheating with his wife. Yeah strange circle thing going on but thats done and over with and we've worked through our problem for the most part. All I know is we love each other and were not going to destroy our marriage and famil over something that was soo stupid in the first place.

I am a woman and no I have not cheated on my spouse. Men have more opportunity to cheat as the women are usualy at home looking after the kids.

I did cheated on her for around 15 times with 5 different people...
cheating to is like breaking a rule of something close to it, it doing the forbidden only because its forbidden...
if it was natural, no men will sleep with other women... i think...
i didnt cheat on her after the last time, it was 4 years ago...

I am a woman and I have never cheated on my honey. Now, I like to check the fellas out, but cheat? No way. I made a vow and I'm sticking to it.

I am a woman, married, never cheated...but he cheated on me. We are going to work it out for our kids. We both still love each other very much. He made a huge mistake.
