some of the questions make me think that the person behind it is seriously ill and is going to shoot 10 people in the street in the next 5 minutes or is going to kill him/herself soon.
now, if we report people is only the question deleted or does anybody actually take care?

Yahoo does not take any actions except to delete a question or answer. There are no Internet Police.
When I was suicidal a few years back I told many people on the Internet what I was going to do and how I was going to do it and even where and when I was going to do it and I never heard a peep out of anyone sent by yahoo or anyone else on the Internet.

Welcome to the Nuthouse. I'm not sure what action they take, but, I have seen questions deleted. as for internet supervision? I think that a great deal of that is done by the users. If you don't go to the sites you dislike, their popularity will fall and you'll not have to deal with their poopoo..
But, you can be sure that some sites are monitored, if not actually run, by the FBI and other child protection organizations, trying to shutdown predators of whatever kind there are, and actually every kind is here.

you mean like raving, bat sh*it crazy lunatics? yeah, we gots plenty o them. reporting only deletes the question and sends an email to the asker why their question was deleted. they do it again, they get another warning and I believe the third time they get booted. I'm on my second warning for now so I gotta behave. and no, don't think anyone really cares if the question is deleted or not, except the asker of course. you want some REALLY kooky people, go to the religion and spirituality section. that's where they congregate the most

I heard from one my contacts at Yahoo! that Yahoo! are serious on persons who abuse this space but they will need our help in doing that that's why they have a feature "Report Abuse" so just do your part we can together make this place a good place to learn and share knowledge
