Wear whatever you feel most comfortable wearing! Some girls love to wear skirts, others just hate the thought of wearing anything but pants -- which one are you?
Anyway, what's really important for the first day of school is a positive attitude, that is the BEST look for any student, anywhere!

hey.. i'm majoring in fashion so i think i can help.
since it'll probably still be hot where you are.. try white, brown, or dark green cargo bermuda shorts. try to stay AWAY from tan.. it might clash with your skintone and you won't even realize. then, try a cute, loose shirt with maybe some beads or shells on it.. those are adorable. then, if you think it looks right, add a widebelt right above your bellybutton. also.. try some sweaters from abercrombie or hollister.. even thouogh it still might be hot, they have short sleeve ones or 3/4 sleeve ones. if it's a little cool.. get cargo capris instead.. or wear a little light jacket that matches over the shirt. wear flip flops or cute little flats... heels would over do the outfit.. and i don't know how old you are either. also.. polos from abercrombie and hollister are really cute.. don't forget to pop your collar! hehe you can also always wear jeans or a cute white skirt. try on some outfits, and pick which ones you like best. also, try looking in teen magazines.. such as elle, seventeen, cosmo girl.. those kinds of things.. pick outfits that u like, and try to match them... hope you find everything you want!
try cute beaded neckelaces and bracelets.. those are very in right now.

Short plaid skirt with white nylons and a white blouse. Do your hair in braided pig tails and take a lollipop.
Have you seen V for Vendetta? Dress like Natalie Portman when she's in the Bishop's bedroom.

A nice pair of Jeans with a cute sleeveless shirt such as tank top or a really cute logo tshirt and if you have any and if allowed flip flops for shoes comfortable but fashionable

im on the same exact problem as u are LOL. u should wear rlly cute jeans and a cute top that mach with the shirt. if liek your shirt is white wich black writtings or designs on it the u should wear black earings and black or white shoes. kinda like that. Pick two colors that looks rlly cute together and wear thoes. like pink and black, green, pink, blue and black, white and black, and so many cute colors. im so doing that the first day. LOL

how old r u then i will help like what grade, but like for middle school or high school, like wear a cute polo, in a color that compliments your skin tone, with a pair of really cute jeans, pssbly worn or ripped, and wear a cute pair of like hollister flip flops in a color that matches the polo, or wear like 2 or 3 tank tops layered with a cute pair of jeans and flip flops

just try to keep ur style, dont make it too much, if u'r really lost, a cute white skirt, and a red cute top, with sports shoes, tht would be cute, good luck!
