tis not nice to brag! Lately though I've been helping a friend that has a bad drug habit, have had her over helping me wash walls and clean in exchange for food and clothing and a bit of cash, been friends for over 15 yrs. She may not realize this is one of the nicest things as I worry while she has been here what might go missing, but I would hope if the situation was reversed she would help me out

I've done a lot of nice things for people over the years. Loaned them money and never asked for it back, done favors for them knowing that they were not the type of person who would be likely to ever be in a position to do a favor for me, and things like that.

But the "nicest" thing I've ever done is tell them that God loves them and that if they will only put their trust in the sacrifice of his dear son Jesus on their behalf they can have a personal relationship with their Creator that will last for all eternity.

Never talk about the nicest thing i have done for anyone ,,,If i truly helped someone i wouldn't want them to feel obligated towards me or resent the fact that i had helped them if they were down on there luck or feel bad if i announced it that could make them feel bad ,,so just be nice and feel good and don't talk about it ,,

I didn't think much of this, but I sponsor a child in Mexico. They limit what I send her to 5 x 7 envelope. So I sent her stickers and coloring pages and some ribbons for her hair.

She sent a long letter telling me she shared them with her sister and she never had such nice things. stickers, ribbons, and coloring pages?? Wow, I was moved.

I also spent 2 years as a volunteer youth minister. While my church never noticed, I know I helped the kids.

But I believe in doing nice things to help people, so there are many I have helped.
