That said, if someone will offer you a position player for a DST, then take it if it helps you out. You can always pick up a defense.
Very often, I will do that week-to-week. Just see who is playing the 49ers or Texans and grab them if they're available.

I doubt you could trade for a better D straight up which emans you would have to give up something else in order to upgrade. I dont think the Pats D will be too bad this yr so you may want to sit tight.

If u can upgrade without hurting any other position yes but they are going to be good enough not to trade if it means putting up somebody good in return.
