Unfortunately, yes. The first trimester can be rough and sex drive often decreases. However, many women have an increased sex drive in the middle months of pregnancy, so things may change for the wife soon!

All women are different, but most times the hormones are changing at that time and women don't feel like having sex, however some good news is that many towards the end of the pregnancy love to. So just hang in there and remember once she has the baby you won't be having sex for six weeks. Don't pressure her and make her feel attractive and loved because she is changing and she may feel unattractive. Hope this helps.

Don't worry about this now, but make sure you talk to her about it. You might be in for a very big surprize when her hormones will be in overdrive and she'll be jumping at you the minute you walk in the door. That will be soon... honestly. At three months, her body is in a state of flux and adjustment, and some women are more tired at 3 months, than at 7 or 8. Just make sure you still want to have sex with her when she's all big belly and uncomfortable!

I have a four month old daughter and yes it is very common for your wife not to want to have sex at this stage, especially if she has morning sickness. Her body is no longer her own and it changes so much in early pregnancy. Sometimes hormones make you feel like you are so disgusting that your partner is only offering to have sex with you because you are a hideous beast and he feels sorry for you. Other times early pregnancy makes you too tired. Don't fret 2nd trimester usually increases libido!!!

ok, imagine feeling seasick/nauseated a lot of the time, a feeling which can be set off anytime, anywhere without warning. Would you want to be thrashing around in that condition? Many women have "morning" sickness morning, noon and night and just want to stay perfectly still until it blows over. But, like Chuckie said, it doesn't last forever. Be patient and don't pressure your wife. In fact, go overboard in spoiling her and she will probably reward you when she's feeling better. The 2nd trimester is awesome.

Yes totally. Early pregnancy can be an awful time - sickness and nausea, unbelievable tiredness, sore breasts....I'm afraid the last thing you want is sex!! But stay patient, once I got to 4 or 5 months and the worst of the symptoms past, my libido returned. Hopefully your wife's will too!

Very normal. Everyone is different but with your hormones all over and the drastic body changes you have sometimes you just don't want to. Be patient and very understanding and please don't hold it against her becuase that wont get you anywhere. Begging for it too just isn't good. She will let you know when she is ready.

I have 6 weeks left to go and it has been very up and down for me but my husband has been incredible about it. Hang in there!

Yeah..It's perfectly normal. I lost interest in sex when I was pregnant and my fiancee thought it was something he had done!! I didn't want to be touched; looked at; talked to; or be around anyone. I was a total b***h!! But, don't worry! It should get better!!

Very normal. During that stage, she is fatigue, maybe nauseous, and going through a lot of mental and emotional changes. Just give her support and don't push the issue. She may not be able to get enough of you later on in her pregnancy!

Yes. The change in hormones can make women loose interest in sex. Or she could just be worried about hurting the baby. Its quite natural.
