Well, I am 34 and have been haivng this problem for the last 2 days. Mine won;t stop tho. I have actually been to the dr about my problem in the past and she has told me that what I have is called a PAC- or Premature Atrial Contraction. It is not life threatening, it is more uncomfortable than anything.

Avois caffeine and other stimulants

Wait, did your heart stop beating fast-- or did it stop entirely? If it's the latter, that may be a problem. Otherwise, don't worry, you're fine.

I am not a Dr. so I cannot and should not give you an opinion. Have a Dr. check you out today and ask him all your questions. That way you will have good facts about your own body. As nice as most are here on this site, they can not examine or know YOU, Dr.s or not. Please do not take any ones opinion. Good Luck!

It stopped... to beat fast or stopped completely? :)

Seriously, no need to worry about this. It happens to me too (and most of us) occasionaly. I forgot how they call this 'problem', but it's common.
