can the recent weather changes may become a permanent phenomenon and lead to the gradual melting of ice in the poles and alaska and drown all of us by rising sea level one day

I think Al Gore missed this issue. It is called summer. It gets really hot sometimes.

As for global warming...maybe, but there is not sufficient evidence.

Plus, global warming could make Canada the place to be.

Temperatures have been going up & down for millions of
years and the ice has been melting for 10,000 years since
the last ice age ended...
We are experiencing a slight recent rapid increase in temperatures
which we might attribute to mans contribution of greenhouse gasses however all the ice on earth has melted before and we
did not all drown...
Low lying coastal areas & cities like New Orleans may be submerged but New Orleans needs to be flushed away anyway so no great loss...

I didn't believe the global warming stuff until just recently. Now I am beginning to think it is real, and weather patterns are changing, and will last for decades. Alaska is going to have the moderate climate! Get your property now while it is still cheap!

Yes it will be as permanent as all phenomena are. I hope people will gradually move back as the coasts inundate. I know that's what is happening in the areas where the recent hurricanes and tsunamis have come.

I attribute the rising temperatures to a crazy phenomenon called SUMMER.
