It has been known to happen..If it is acceptable depends on the marriage..If it is an open marriage..agreed upon by the married couple..I would say yes..Although some married couples bring others into the marriage arena for sexual reasons, thinking it will improve the marriage, It usually ends BADLY! No marriage is strong enough to survive infidelity for very long (jealously will rear its ugly head eventually and disastrous results may occur). Religiously speaking, it is a NO-NO! No-way..ever!

Of course not! Last I knew, it wasn't even acceptable during the dating or engagment. This may be an old fashioned idea lol, but It pretty much works. The only open marriage I've seen just ended in divorce...

Well that depends on how you and your partner define YOUR marriage. Personally we are monogamists but if you have talked this through and are both ok with it who has the right to judge. There are many couples who swing. It is your marriage the vows are guide lines but you both make your own rules. All you need to worry about is how your partner feels about it. Just remember what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Both of you should have the option to sleep around not just you. Because then it is definitely adultery.

After a while, it might spice up a marriage, but remember that it must be open to both, If I want sex with someone else, then I must agree that my wife can do the same. If we both agree, there is not any thing wrong with it.

Marriage equals monogamy - plain and simple. If you are not ready to live with and love (physically AND emotionally) one person for the rest of your life, then you should not be married. Its as simple as that.

"Open" marriages are a JOKE, and any person who thinks its ok to screw around on their spouse because the other person doesn't want an open marriage is a complete jacka$$ (male OR female).

No, sorry, what do you think the point of marriage is. If you have a religion, go read what it says about marriage, and try to live that. Better yet, ask your spouse this same question.

Only if both husband and wife agree to it and it is to enhance the marriage, not to fill in any void in the marriage.

If it is acceptable for your spouse then it should be acceptable for you. Both of you can do it. Fair and square.

No............... didn't you know that before you married?

You marry someone because you love them, you are devoted to them and only them, you don't want to be with anyone else, your heart is already spoken for ....

Why did you marry?
