my kid is 12 and she isnt allowed on the computer (which by the way is in a central room)
you can do something to block it - its called REMOVE ACCESS, dont allow her on the computer - how do you know he IS 14.. how do you know he IS in another country - he could be right next door
your the parent BE a parent your daughter shouldnt have been being babysat by the computer at all in the first place or this wouldnt have happened.

leave her alone, the internet is a good way to learn about love, and since they are in different countries chances of meeting are non existant, every body has to start relationships some time and even if you could block her from the computer she could have a friend run messages back and forth, and no matter what u try she will find a way around it, just sit her down and talk to her about being safe online, and i really support internet realtionships, i actually have a gf i met online and she lives close to me and i'm 14, just talk to your kid about internet safety and you know she will be okay
