Well first of all this is very normal. You usually do not see them on the tv because it is edited and smoothed. Also they use tanners which cover them too.
Some ways you can help prevent them on yourself is making sure you are not shaving dry. Use a good shave gel perfect for your skin. And make sure you are moisturizing enough.

I dont know.Maybe because ur hair is thick.I have never had that problem until i started getting older.I noticed that my hair is getting a little thicker on my legs and now when i shave i get those little dots.Its not cool I hate them.My legs were so smooth.It seems to be working its way up.

when your shave is close enough you may not find stumps of hair protruding out. Try hair removers instead of shaving your exposed parts of legs.
What you see in TV is a made-up shapely leg and it will look smooth!!!!

GURLIE- GET A BETTER RAZOR!!!!! apparently that one isn't givin' u quite a smooth shave, so try a different razor, even if it's the cheap disposable ones!
