i apologize to anyone who is offended by me using the terms "black" and "white" to describe people

Allowed? You could get shot for that kind of terminology never mind the B&W. Anyway. Here is my part and I could get shot also.

White woman don't wear 'more' that well. Name a few white women that look as good as Queen Latihfa or Missy Eliot to name a few with some extra in any place. It just looks good on them.

No offense should be taken to "Black" and "White" because that's what we are. Blacks, especially Black women, however, are not as self conscious about their weight like White women. Black women may try to wear dark colors thinking that old wives tale works about slimming your figure or girdles and such, but you don't see Black girls becoming anorexic and bulimic like White girls. Most of us won't go to those extents of harming ourselves just to get thin or thin enough to be accepted by society. For one, most Black men like women with meat on their bones. They don't want someone that looks sickly. You see how proud that comedian Mo'Nique is of her size and how there are so many full figured Black models nowadays. How many White women do you see hosting pageants for big girls and accepting full figured models into their modeling agencies? I feel that SOME, NOT ALL, White people's idea of beauty is being rail thin, and that's just not so with MOST Blacks.

Have you ever gone to an Opera? The lead female singers tend to be 'big' because they tend to have the 'big' voices necessary to project their singing to the audience.
There are 'big' women in all walks of life, of all colours, and to try to say that it's a matter of skin colour is not very correct.
I really think our society needs to stop judging anybody by their size, shape, colour, nationality, etc. (You know, kind of like it says in the Constitution!)
Thanks for the question, though, it does make one wonder!

i fell like it doesn't matter what race you are or what size you are. As long as you are confident within yourself, then that's all that matters.
