Indeed, talks around the table are always better. But in the middle east, where treachery and back hand politics are common, talks are not worth much. The Oslo accords signed between Israel and Yasser Arafat have helped Arafat secure a teritorial base from which he could launch attacks into Israel. Known as the second Intifada, these attacks triggered the bloodshed that has been going on in Israel and the Palestinian authority the past 6 years.
The bad news is that the Hezbolla, acting from Lebanon, do not have any real issue with Israel. Being Iran's proxy, they actually use Israel as a pretext to increase Iran's presence in Lebanon, thus making them the dominant force in Lebanese politics. Unlike the palestinians, they have nothing to gain by negotiations and therefore we will not see them at talks with Israel.

You can't negotiate with those who have sworn to your destruction.... example: Hamas has written in their charter that Israel must be destroyed and they will not recognize their right to exist...
Iran has stated that the US and Israel must be wiped off of the map...

you have to FIGHT Islamic fascism! they will not negotiate!
