Buck Shelford in 1983 had his testicle sack ripped open in a ruck. He ran to the side of the field, had the medic stitch the testies back in place and then ran back onto the field. HARD!!!!
The reason the haka is as impressive today is because of Buck. The man, THE LEGEND!!!

Going into a ruck or a maul and knowing that *you're* the one who's going to end up with the ball--just looking at your opponents and seeing the look on their faces when they know they have to deal with you...grrrrr! I just loved putting on that jersey, tight-head prop, getting into that scrum...one thing? Just one thing?
