Yeah.....I didn't really see Brazil players getting too overly upset about being eliminated. They were likely aware that they didn't perform as well as expected and why deny it? At least they were men enough (unlike some teams) to accept their poor play and defeat and hope for better luck next time.
If anyone was shocked about their defeat.....it would be the fans. I'm not a Brazilian fan but I was surprised when Brazil was beaten by France, especially with the latter having played not that great in the first round....France had to battle to win the first round.

yes, of course they were shocked! Everyone thinks that Brazil is an awsome team, and to have them lose against France was a big shocker even for those people that aren't Brazil fans werew shocked too. But if France didn't have that penalty shot, then Brazil would have won the game.

Yeah, but they shouldn't have been France for some reason is the toughest team for Brazil to beat, they've only beaten them once in history (see link below, look under World Cup History, By Team).

They should not be shocked. They should have lost to Ghana. Ghana outplayed them. If Ghana had a little more experience, it would have been a 5-2 game for the new African powers. Last but not least, they were outplayed by France as well. Zidane handled Brazil by himself if you people remember. He tortured the Brazilians and was tortured by Mio mezzani italiani!!

Definitely. Before the World Cup I was expecting Brazil to win, with Ronaldinho etc in the squad - I was shocked to see them out. Though, Zizou and the rest of the French team were brilliant - they deserved to win.
What a game!!

Duh! They were the favorites to win the Cup, and they went out in the semi-finals. Why would they expect to be beaten? They were the World Champs!!! I was surprised too. And some players hold their disbelief till the locker room. Look at Messi.

I agree with you. They new they weren't playing well together as a team. I think a few wanted other players on the field.
