Fabio Grosso (born November 28, 1977 in Rome) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A International team and the Italian national football team, with whom he won the 2006 World Cup. Grosso is a left back, who can also play in the role of left wing. He is also a free kick specialist...I think he's a great player!

¡¡¡Fabio Grosso!!!
How to forget that spectacular goal he scored for Germany (with Pirlo's help) and that last penalty shot?
He was one of the low-profilers on the team when the cup first started, and now he goes home as probably the player that brought luck to the azzurra when it was needed.
Besides, he's about to be a dad!
The only bad thing: The Inter's got him now! Snif.

Goodluck!

he played a great world cup...nice goal against germany and thank God, he was in the right position at that time...he's a midfielder but was changed to be a defender for italian WC '06 national team by lippi... i think u will know more about him if u visit wikipedia n write his name...there's also info about him if u search in WC '06 official website in the italy's national team page...look in the squad section...
well, what i think about him? maybe, a great wing player...had a great WC...contributed to italy's win over australia n germany....especially australia...i was really afraid at that time as it might be a penalty or a second yellow card for grosso which meant a red card (he got a yellow card earlier in that game)...
