Maybe instead of spending all that money on "development", they should focus on eliminating the extreme poverty and overpopulation that has been a persistent factor in Indian history. Caste systems may not be like they were in the past, but on many levels they still exist. The country is democratic, but because of their out of control beauracracy, the average Indian cannot advance their position in life.
Anyways, that is my opinion. All the technological and industiral and scientific advances mean nothing if a majority of your people are starving, diseased, and living on the streets and your country is filled with trash and all the rivers are polluted beyond belief. What a sad example of a country.

Its boost value for Gross kin Product is merely shy of 8 p.c.. the country in and of itself although continues to be adverse and illiterate. you will see skyscrapers next to slums. there's an excellent hollow between prosperous and adverse, and the government is corrupt. in spite of this, the economic gadget and inhabitants the two have grown at an astronomical value interior the previous few years and jobs are flocking there. The IT corporation is probably going considered one of the main sought after interior the international, and the country's common of residing is slowly improving. there isn't any doubt that India is growing to be, although this is going to take plenty attempt and reformation to thrive.
