Dreich - dull wet grey miserable weather. It is the perfect onamatpaea (or however you spell that) in that it sums up the expression it explains.
Crabbit - grumpy, or crab like for a angry person

and my favourite

Aye Right - meaning you are wrong, about the only time two positives make a negative.

Teuchter ( Comes from the highlands)
Blether (to talk a lot)
Wheesht (to tell someone to be quiet)
Eejit ( Fool)
Greet (to cry)
Besom ( A slapper)
Scunner ( something you dislike)
Quine (female)Dreich ( dreary) I could go on, but my fave is still Glaikit. I have a dog called that and he lives up to his name lol.
