Did Clinton do anything in office besides weaken our military with don't ask don't tell?
This is a legitimate question and I'm not referring to his personal flaws like Monica, whitewater, date rape, the pardons, stealing whitehouse silverware, his wife, and Vince Foster.
And,
What did the "vast right-wing conspiracy" have to do with former national security adviser Sandy Berger ripping off documents from the national archives?

what Clinton did in office was embarrass our nation , taint the office of president, and refuse to accept responsibility for anything, and blame the right wing for everything.... this cover up ( ripping off the documents) was not the Clinton's first attempt to lie and cover up things as evidenced by other investigative reports on Clinton that have "disappeared", the political favors he doled out for his campaign contributors, for the whitewater scandal, the Mena scandal ( drug + weapons for the Contras)..we wouldn't even be in Iraq right now if Clinton had done the right thing when he was in office.. what about giving our nuclear secrets to China???Clinton could have done away with Bin Laden, but declined to do so...Clinton gave pardons for donations, Clinton even tried to restrict any negative information about him on the Internet!.the man lacks strength, morals , integrity, honesty and humility..his time in office will go down in history as an ineffectual , incompetent , smug , arrogant, snake charmer.. and .the 2nd president impeached..

Concerning the budget:
He did what a moderate republican would do, and balanced it (actually added surplus by the end of his 8 years). Typically, the republicans pride themselves on being fiscally conservative, but our current president is creating financial issues that will be with us for a long time to come.
Concerning the military: I don't know, I served in the Navy between 92 and 98, and didn't notice any problems. The policy you are referring to was very hyped in the media obviously, but didn't really effect us at all. I think the military was as strong as ever. In fact, I would argue that it was stronger then than now, simply because now we are overextended, and my fear is that we are putting our fingers over leaks in the dam, and then more leaks sprout. How many fingers do we have?
I honestly don't believe in any right-wing conspiracy. Berger probably was trying to study extra hard for the hearings, and felt that he needed the info. I checked your link to wikepedia, and it looks like it was written by a leftist, at least to me...open sources like that, you know, you still have to be a little careful in believing whatever you see!
About me, for reference: typically vote democrat, but not always. Example: if Powell were to run for president, I would vote for him in a heart beat. There is an example of an honest man who takes pride in the work he does for the country.

A good source about a small snippet of Clinton's time in office can be read in Buzz Aldridge's book "Dereliction of Duty". He was an Air Force Colonel assigned to Clinton for 2 years carrying the "nuclear football", and his book offers a number of first hand insights into Clinton's time and procedures. It's an interesting read, check it out.
