Some of the punches are thrown where the wrestler wont feel it. The wrestler will punch for real but will pull back his hand as fast as possible. In the end you only feel a bit of pain.

Bleeding is real but not because of the weapon that they use to make the opponent bust open. The wrestlers will have a small blade under theyre tape or wristbands, pull it out where the camera wont see it and either hold it for about 2 min. or cut themselves right then. A tiny nick will combine blood and sweat creating the crimson mask.

Some of the weapons are real but when they hit each other with them they do the same method of punching. When HHH uses his sledgehammer watch closely and you will see that he puts his hand over the hammer part.

Overall most wrestling is real but its made for the entertainment(wwE) for you.

Of course it isn't "real." If it were people would get killed every night. However, despite the performance aspect of the activity, most of the wrestlers are amazing athletes. The skill, strength and endurance it would take to "fight" non-stop, sometimes for longer than 20 minutes at a time, is incredible. They dead lift and throw men that weigh up to 300 pounds. They endure actual full contact punches and kicks, albeit not at full strength.

If you read some of their autobiographies you will see that more than one has literally had their ear ripped off their head, arms broken from falls, concussions, and permanent career ending injuries.

Is WWE "real,"... no. But, are the athletes that wrestle for the WWE real professional athletes...heck ya.

Ok, the punches, suplexes, and the fighting is not fake. They are extremely trained professional wrestlers. But the storyline is absolutely fake. Its all part of WWE's money making technique.

They create some rivalry between wrestlers to attract more people to the show. Everything is pre-planned. For example how can Mysterio(who weighs only 160 lbs) take down 400lbs guys. Everyone likes him so WWE promotes him to make more money.

IT IS REAL!! Yes, the matches are PRE-DETERMINED, but not FAKE. It they weren't, it might be kind of boring, because it'd be hard to do reversals, double teams, etc. Vince and his team decide the most interesting way to do the match, and it WORKS! Really, though, how do you fake fall from a 20-foot ladder? The superstars are real ATHLETES, don't deny it! The wrestlers just know what's going to happen, so they can brace themselves or block it better. The storyline is fake, OBVIOUSLY, but the matches? The blood? The pain? REAL.

Only a dumbo would believe that WWE is real.Even Superman can't take that many chair shots or table smacks or a pedigree on top of a hell in a cell cage.

No, WWE is definitely not real. The only thing about it that is real are the injuries! It's called world wrestling entertainment! It's an entertaining franchise!

Are you high? Come down off of the cloud, join us here on Earth, sit a spell....... and wake up! It is primetime soap-opera, with professional stunt people that know what they are doing, if that was real, more than just Owen Hart would have died in the ring.
