Lots of breaks to stretch legs, correct positioning of seat and seatbelt (under the tummy), drink lots of water, don't forget to follow correct diet (such as fruit intake, when you are away sometimes fruit tends to be forgotten), carry on with folic acid, take your maternity notes with you, lots of comfy cushions especially in the tent, an air bed is a must (you don't want to catch a cold), warm blankets, wet wipes to freshen up, sanitary pads (just in case), useful telephone numbers. Have fun!

I think you've been given fairly sound advice. Make sure you get your antenatal appointment before you go away, just to do a general check on yourself and baby.
Do take your handheld notes, and any emergency contact information on a piece of paper inside your notes.
Lots and lots of frequent rests, I know you're not flying, but keep those legs moving, it will help reduce any swelling of the ankles. Maybe wearing a pair of flight tights would be of help for you during the journey.
Good medical insurance is a must, and make sure you declare that you're pregnant. Also, don't forget your E111, this will prove invaluable in the case of any medical emergency. You can get the forms for these at the post office, or ask the post office for the phone number, and you can apply over the phone for them (takes about a week for them to arrive).
Lastly, make sure you have lots of fun!!!!!

you need regular rest/food/toilet breaks. eat little and often, stretch your legs as much as possible and walk around as much as possible. Allow an extra 2 hours from manchester to the port. You'll have all the time on the ferry to walk around, and allow a stop at least every 2 hours. You should be okay

Toilets - I stayed in a tent in France and I was walking around in the middle of the night looking for a toilet. And I wasn't pregnant!

CHECK the FERRY'S POLICY on this (or do not tell them)
my friend wasn't allowed on the ferry because she mentioned she was 7 months pregnant, had to drive down coast to another one
also the odd glass of red wine is beneficial!

Just take lots of breaks so you can stretch your legs. Remember to take your maternity notes with you as well as making sure you have adequate medical insurance cover in case something goes wrong.
I travelled through both of my pregnancies, long commutes as well as International business travel, all was fine and well.
