I think a soulmate is someone you are destined to be with. You may or may not have known them in a past life or not. I have found my soulmate and we have alot in common, we are able to finish each other sentences or just know what the other is trying to say or how the other feels.

Well to me a soulmate is someone that you can get along with perfectly and not only are lovers but really good friends. Someone that when you look at in the morning they make you smile and when they hold you , you dont want them to let you go. Someone that you know will always be there for you as long as they are alive and well. Someone that you would stand by thier side no matter what and vice versa. Someone that you love looking at and being with and no one else makes your eyes wonder.
The only past life I believe in is my past since i was born until yesterday and if I had a life before that I certainly dont remember it so I wouldnt remember who I knew.
If I understand your statement right you are a girl married to a man but yet have fallen for some chick that you hit it off with and feel you have known all your life. If this is true then I rather doubt that your husband is your soulmate and as for the chick who knows since you just met her. I wish you happiness and hope you find what you are looking for in life.

I don't believe in past lives and I believe soulmates are a myth.
What's worse, soulmates are a dangerous myth. The term "soulmate" implies someone with whom you have such a natural bond that the relationship is perfect and remains perfect effortlessly.
That's a myth because no relationship, no matter how compatible the people are, is effortless. Relationships take hard work to maintain. They involve sacrifice and difficult times. If you buy into the whole "soulmate" mythology, then you're going to find yourself thinking that every relationship you're in is a mistake because it takes work. Hollywood movies encourage people to hold out for their "soulmate." That's a recipe for perpetual unhappiness.

My soulmate is my husband. I wish I could tell you how I know, but there's a sense of finally being complete, of freedom to be me, of love so strong it scares the he** out of me, many reasons and yet no amount of words would ever explain how I know, I just do.

A soulmate cannot be describe in words - it is a feeling you have about someone. It is someone who you know inside out and someone who you feel 100% comfortable with. You can love someone - and then you can be in love with someone.
