The points really do not mean anything. It just feels really good to know something that I have learned along the way can help someone, even tho I do not know you, or whoever, I am glad to share what I know if it helps. Some years ago, I was hiking up a ravine in Hawaii to see a waterfall. Some stranger had told me that it was not a hike or a climb, just a stroll in the park. Well, I started out alone wearing little white sandals. About half-way up, I came upon a place that was all mud and steep. Impossible for me to get over in those shoes and alone. Along comes a couple and the man reaches out takes my hand and gets me over the muddy steep part and just goes on along his way without saying much of anything. I feel that the Answers game is sort of like that. Strangers just reaching out a helping hand for no real reason, certainly no personal gain, money or anything. You're Welcome & Thanks...

Yes. There are SO many good people. I sincerely believe that dialogue will enhance our society. I also sincerely hope Yahoo could somehow give us a place free of the haters and time wasters. True, the points are just a reference figure, but I feel gratified when someone has been helped by my answer/s. Good Karma.

I'm here not for the points, but for making friends. I've met several very nice people, some of whom I would actually consider inviting to my home. I have been extremely happy with this forum and I hope it continues this way. I'm glad you have found the same thing here.

I've only been on this forum a few days but it warms my heart to see some of the thought that some ppl put into their answers. Especially for really supersensitive questions and to see some actually reply like u, expressing their gratitudes is just as endearing. Manners cost nothing and is always appreciated. God bless you child

I don't know if I answered any of your questions, but to answer this one: if I come across a serious question to which I know an answer I will gladly give it. I am not just here out of boredom!
