I feel that the Qana is just another example of the price of war that Lebanon and terrorists will just respond with more war and killing if there is a cease-fire now. I feel sadly that it is a price of war which we hope to avoid on large scale. As for the children, true it is they are innocent now, but if Hezabollah is not taken out how many of those children do you think would be Hezabollah fighters when they grow up. The children are all potential enemies until Hezabollah is destroyed. How many do you think will grow up hating anyways and how many do you think will actually mourn over the loss of American, Israelis, or British lives when their folk heroes of Hezbollah attack Americans in what they feel is legitimate. If we do not pave the future with this war then those children will be mere weapons used later? Am I heartless?

wrong, they must be given a choice, but as things are right now they have no choice for they will either be politically silent or join the Hezbollah. I am not saying that they are not innocent, but I am saying that since they may become potential enemies then they can be chalked up as price of war and not a crime.

wrong I just want to level Hezbollah. I admit we won't get everyone of them, but at the rate Lebanon is acting like Afghanistan with Taliban harboring terrorists where they can walk freely.

terrorism is a state of mind, but with an organization already implace to entice the children they are as good as gone. While we might have a chance if we can somehow eliminate these organizations. The cycle of hate continues but at least we can try to clear the board.

Sorry to parents, but the point was war is heartless. The parents and adults start the war, but everyone has to suffer. If we love our children so much, why did they join Hezabollah and support their inciting of war with Israel. Why is Hezabollah supported by the Lebanese citizens even though they harbor belligerent policies? Did they even consider the children when they started the war? All I can say is don't start a war if you value your children. Nobody mourns for the Israeli children lost.

My best bet is that you DO NOT have CHILDREN. If you were
a parent, you would be more sympathetic. The price of war?
...Give me a break. If your home was blown up and your family
was wiped out... would you, then, chalk it up as "the price of
war"? Just as long as it's not happening in your back yard. You
can turn off the television and the war disappears. They can't.
Do you believe the Lebanese kids think that everyone who died 9/11 was going to end up dropping bombs on them?
I am not Lebanese. My kids are 1/2 Israeli. That doesn't make
Israel right in my eyes. They don't have carte blanc to just
annihilate anyone in their way. And God knows, just
because my kids are I/2 Israeli they shouldn't be held responsible for a decision some General is making in Jerusalem.
Do I think you are heartless? Only if you don't have a change of
heart. War makes me MAD! "All is fair in Love & War"? Phoey!

True however, first of all its a self defence action that Isreal is taking and yes they showed a katyush launcher firing from qana and they stated how many they shot a 150.
and a lawyer also spoke about this and stated that the u.n once recieved a resloution that said that if an armed force is firing from civilian concentration
and their enemy shot back and kill those civilians then that armed force who shot from a civilian location is the one to cary all blame.
and you know who set this as a presidence , thats right it was in lebanon a few years ago and it involved 2 factions from lebanon shooting at each other.
so please check the facts before you start throwing accusations. This is not to mention that Lebanon is in violation of the UN code 1559. Now since hezbollahs aim sucks and the rockets miss there target is hezbollah morally superior ? Maybe people here should look at the steps israel has taken to try to get civilians out of the southern areas ……… what steps did hezbollah take to get israeli civilians out of the rocket areas? NONE of course no the idea of hezbollah is to kill as many israeli civilians as possible. Now here is a question for everyone to ponder and you may want to also address this one………. Where is the safest place in Israel?
My answer is anywhere the IDF is since hezbollah just targets civilians …and for all those saying that israel is trying to "terrorize Lebanon into submission" isn’t that pot calling the kettle black? Plus, Lebanon was never a real country. Hezballh obviously had the military strength to take over the country whenever it wanted to. It already ruled the south and could and did commit the country to war when it chose. We can only hope that Lebanon will be survive as a free country, but that requires that Hezballah be squashed. In conclusion: There are always lots of civilian deaths in war, generally far more than military ones, except in the unusual circumstance where BOTH sides are willing to just go out into empty fields and confront each other and confine themselves to that sort of battle. There were certainly far more civilian than military deaths in WWII for example. The same or actually worse proportionately was true in ancient times and everywhere in between. We’ve simply become far more skittish about it, particularly with cable / satellite 24/7 news. Israel is fighting this to keep Hezbollah from raining or being able to rain rockets upon it from a safe haven in Lebanon. It’s been doing that off and on for six years and it’s arsenal has recently been increasing alarmingly both in number, and in range and size. It’s simply intolerable to allow Hezbollah to keep raining rockets into Israel or further building it’s arsenal. Lebanon should have disarmed this state within a state militia dedicated to making Israel unviable as it was required to do un UN 1559, and as other normal states do without any such resolution.

Sure, Hezbollah is using the children and other civilians as a shield to fight the Israelis. But, no body is commenting on this aspect, but only Israelis are targeted. It is reported that Hezbollah were firing rockets from this place where the children were kept.
It is time that the world comes to know of the truth and act accordingly, to end this conflict early. Does every country in this world fear the Muslims? I think so.

I just wonder why some people close their eyes to the truth.
Devil lives in Israel! Actually, they have this crazy belief that this land is theirs, even though their messiah hasn't come yet and they cannot claim it as their land until he comes. So technically, they shouldn't even be there. The only reason they're still alive is because the US backs them up. Otherwise, the Germans or the Arabs would have wiped them off the face of this earth. They're horrible people. They bombed hospitals, escape roads, airports, bus stations. They bombed civilians trying to escape in cars and buses, and they bombed a PREDESIGNATED UN PEACEKEEPING LOOKOUT! All that over two soldiers? Yes, I must admit that Hezb-allah is retaliating, but what would you do if bombs are being dropped over your head. You'd fight back any way you can.

a bit unfair to condemn these children just because of what they might become in later life, and the situation in which they find themselves being raised. They must be given the same chance as any other kid to grow up without living in fear. The decisions which they then make as adults will decide if they are "potential" enemies. As you say, they are innocents now, and as such have the right to life and a future, don't comdemn them before time.

Your just honest about how you feel.
Its important to gie people all the right information to allow them to make an informed decision about their lives, we can only hope those children have the chance to see the whole truth not just the blinkered views of either side in the war.

That's so true. It's hard to get the world to trust and believe you when your reputation precedes you (America's). That's a problem we have to think about everywhere: Iraq, Iran, North Korean, anybody else we manage to piss off.
