_ being the blank, / being division

example, 21 / 3 x 7 - 6 + 3 = 47

thanks brumteacher. it's a six-item assignment. she was able to answer 3 of them already, plus you helped with the answer to another one. thta's enough for now. she's too tired to figure out the other two. tnx very much!! :)

I think you have missed brackets ( ) from these equations
a) could be 54 +(7x3)-(20/4)= 70

I believe your example is wrong - I get 46 - let me work on b and c and I'll get back to you.

b is 16/8 - 9/9x2 = 2-2 = 0

c is 4x6/8 +32 - 12 =23 because 24 / 8 is 3; 3 + 32 is 35; 35-12 = 23

a's answer from brum...is right except the parentheses are not needed because by order of operations you do the multiplying and dividing first anyway
