they are not responsible, they are just following their instincts, they think is easy and that there may not be any consequences since there are a lot of information in how to prevent pregnancy.

The other answers are correct. It has much to do with instinct, and it feels good. Not very many years ago teens were expected to be married and raising children. It's society that has tried to change the age of maturity, not nature. If that change does happen via nature it will take much longer then a couple of hundred years.
So teens wanting to be romantically involved in sexual relationships is normal. The unfortunate part is since society has deemed teens too young for this behavior, society refuses to deal with the urges that come naturally with education. Society just says "no, you are too young", but never addresses the natural urges and instinct portion of being a teen. It's been a long time since I was a teen, but i certainly remember.

I think it is mainly not wanting to deal with all the difficult feelings of loneliness and not belonging that go with growing up.
Every child settles into some kind of relationship with the environment and family that provides the safity of predictability (often it is not more than that).
At a certain age it becomes clear one has to become one's own person and stand on two feet and carry responsibility for people one-self. This is a very difficult time for every teen - feelings of loniliness, depression, low self-esteem are very common.
Some teens accept this as part of the process of growing up and some try to evade this by trying to kling to people of the other sex by starting sexual relationships.

Honestly...there is only one answer I can think of and it's one of the primary reasons I had pre-martial sex when I was a teen.
Hormones! When you're a teenager it's pretty tough to control your hormones. Unless you have plenty of guidance, lots of support, discipline and are systematically taught to refrain from giving in to these natural urges you are going to have pre-marital sex.
Why?...because it's human nature. It's been going on for millions of years your body is reacting to a nature. It's pretty difficult to try and stop nature don't you think. To all those who do refrain from pre-martial sex Kudos for you! to those that do have sex before marriage just be sure to play it safe & use protection...you wanna be able to enjoy it for as looong as possible.
Happy trails!

Well, if you have done it try to think of your own reasons.
Animals do sex and they don't wait until married.
humans are the only species that has a waiting period after you are able to do sex until you are "permitted" to.
teens don't realize the consequences of sex because they are not mature. like disease, babies, etc. teens can't think ahead.
they have never had responsibilities. they don't know what is required to raise a child.
teens like to rebel and do what they are not supposed to do.
they seem to think it's fun. to make adults mad.
which is interesting because the bad consequences are mostly on the teen.

Teenagers think they are more mature than they really are and think they can handle adult things. Some can. And some just want to do it because everyone else is. They think they can handle it until they become pregnant or get a STD. Some are mature enough to get birth control and use protection.

Sex itself is a pleasureable thing to do, Having a teenage pregnancy is usually due to a lack of knowledge on how to prevent pregnancy.

every one tells there children bnt to have premarital sex. But socitiy tells them to rebell, that's one thing that's been in their head since grade school. they want to know what it's like to experience it. Socitity makes it not as important to stay a virgin anymore
