Yes I think the hezbollah are terrorists. I think that they're been allowed to infiltrate key parts of the Lebanon government. Lebanon may be trying to rid themselves of them as well as fend off the attacks from Israel too.

Looks like a mess to me.

First of all, Hezbollah started the current fight. There is no doubt about it ... the Sunni nations surrounding this area blamed Hezbollah for the start, and Hezbollah themselves have come out and admitted they did this not expecting this type of Israeli response. Hezbollah is defending because they thought they could be the playground bully and no one would fight back. So, while it's easy to see that too many innocent Lebanese people are paying the price, whatever happens to Hezbollah as a minority faction within Lebanon is just and deserved.

Secondly, there is at least some difference between Hezbollah and Israel. Hezbollah, and its Iranian benefactors, have an openly expressed policy of wanting to rid the middle-east of every last Jew. And they act in aggressive fashion to accomplish that objective.

Hezbollah is armed and dangerous, and their own countrymen are afraid to stand up to them. That is part of the reason Hezbollah has been able to dominate southern Lebanon the way they have. Had the Lebanese people followed through on their commitment to the UN to disarm Hezbollah, this never would have happened.

Let's face it, Israel doesn't attack Egypt, they don't threaten Jordan. Israel wants peace. I believe most of Lebanon wants peace. But Iran doesn't, and has funded and supplied Hezbollah just for this type of purpose. And neither Hezbollah nor Hamas wants peace; they are willing to sacrifice their countrymen (not as much themselves, really ... that's unthinkable, so they use civilian shields) to accomplish their purposes.

Hezbollah are absolutely terrorists. They're not representing the government of Lebanon, although the government there seems to be fine with what they're doing. Israel is not 100% right, either. There is almost never a time, ever, that one side is 100% right and the other 100% wrong. And placing blame doesn't help resolve the problem, anyway. I don't know if there is a solution to this--it's been going on for centuries in that part of the world and will continue to go on until they've managed to annihilate each other and probably take most of the world with them. Pessimistic, yes--but sadly, this is probably a realistic view.

Not many people are admiring israel especially after the second massacre in the same holy village in 10 years. They called it last time the "grapes of wrath" operation practically mocking jesus in other words christianity since they hit the town were jesus did hius first miracle turning water into wine. People didnt call israelis terrorists when they invaded lebanon in 82 which sparked the creation of hizballah which has "returned the favour". Terrorism is the sabra and shatila massacres also te bombing of the UN in 96 killing over a hundred sheltering civilians. Isnt there a law in the US that bans biased media. In lebanon no one worries about it because they actually bother to take 2 sources instead of relying on one. The second two are complete opposites but one is changing a little especially after the qana massacre

The Hezbollah are Shiite Muslims, who practice terrorist tactics. For years they have been badgering Israel with rocket launches and kidnapping. Israel got sick of it and is now sticking it to the Hezbollah. Iran is made up of about 98% Shiite Muslims, and their new leader has already threatened Israel with inhalation, and Lebanon is right on board with Iran. The Hezbollah also use terrorist tactics with their own people by hiding weapons in civilian places like near neighborhoods, schools and hospitals, knowing that those weapon caches will be bombed, and innocent civilians right along with them. It's what they do, they do not put any value on life, not even for their own people. Death is all they value.

Its all just a cycle of hate, but the difference is Israel is a legitimate country conducting military operations while I have never heard of a country named Hezbollah or Lebanon does not officially support the actions of Hezbollah that we call terrorism and therefore Hezbollah are terrorists. Man why can't people see that logic.

1. Israel hadn't attacked Lebanon or the HezBULLies in years. Then, the HezBULLies invaded Israel and attacked and killed several soldiers and 'captured' two others.

So, the HezBULLies weren't defending themselves.

2. Israel has the right to defend itself according to the UN.

"Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security. Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defense shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present Charter to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security."

UN Charter Chapter 7, Article 51

3. What would you call an organization that deliberately TARGETS civilians, stores weapons in civilian areas, uses civilian areas to launch attacks, prevents civilians from leaving possible areas of conflicts, does not wear a military uniform and has an assault weapon on their flag*? I'd call them terrorists.

This was recorded during a recent HezBULLie phone call to the UN.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

BOO HOO HOO!!!!!!!!!

MOMMY!!!!!!!!!

THOSE NASTY JEWS HIT ME BACK!!!!

I think any group that attacks unarmed civilians is a terrorist organization. That includes Hezbollah, Israel and the US government.
